How BreakSheet Makes Money

Effective October 29, 2026

BreakSheet is free to use and is paid for by advertising, and may also be paid for by sponsored placements and affiliate links. This page explains each one so you can tell what is paid and what is not. The FTC requires that paid relationships be clear to you, and we label them next to the content they apply to, not only here.

1. Ads

Ads from Google AdSense and other ad partners appear around the Site. Every ad spot is labelled “Advertisement”. We do not choose which ads Google shows, and we do not endorse the advertisers. Please do not click ads to support the Site. We do not ask for or want clicks that you would not make anyway.

2. Sponsored placements

Breakers, breaking channels, card shops and other businesses may pay to have a link, listing or message placed on the Site, such as a link to their break of a product or a note that spots on a team are open. These are always labelled “Sponsored” next to the placement. A sponsored placement means the business paid for visibility. It is not our recommendation, review or endorsement, and we have not checked the seller, their prices, their shipping or how they run their breaks. Check a seller yourself before you buy.

3. Affiliate links

Some links may go to online stores or marketplaces, such as eBay, hobby retailers or breaking platforms. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. These links are labelled as affiliate links or sit under a nearby note saying so.

4. Our independence

  • Checklist counts, odds, shares and rankings are calculated from manufacturer documents. A sponsor, advertiser or affiliate cannot pay to change them, hide a team or player, or move a product up.
  • We do not accept payment in exchange for a positive statement about a seller or a product on the Site.
  • Paid and unpaid content are kept visibly separate.

5. Connections we have

The person who runs BreakSheet also works in the card breaking business. If the Site ever links to, features or sells a placement to a business they work for or own, we will name that business here and say so next to the placement.

6. Questions or complaints

If you think a paid placement is not labelled clearly, tell us at info.breaksheet@gmail.com and we will fix it.
